27th ANTIQUE STOCKING STUFFERS SHOW AND SALE DEC. 16

Cross River, NY: The John Jay High School will be filled into the lobby with antique, estate and vintage costume jewelry; antique and estate silver including hollowware and flatware plus a general line of antiques and collectibles no larger than 6 x 6 and able to fit that Holiday Stocking. Cord Shows LTD's 27th annual Stocking Stuffers Show and Sale on December 16th is a long running shopping tradition for the many customers who reserve this day for that very special gift. It is also a tradition for the dealers who start separating their merchandise months before, reserving their little treasures for The Stuffer, as dealers refer to it. Booths are set up in long straight rows with dealers on one side of the tables and customers on the other. There are rules to follow notes Vivien Cord. No selling from any space other than the rented tables but creativity is encouraged and dealers may build up as high as they feel comfortable doing. Some chose to sell out of baskets of like merchandise while others prefer featuring select items with plenty of space around them. Brenda Perrone of Pound Ridge, NY, has devised a system where she uses display materials to build a holiday wonderland full of Christmas ornaments and decorations. One can't help but feel the spirit when shopping her booth.

Admission $7 (12 and under free) to benefit John Jay High School PTO.

Directions:

The school is just off Route 35, 4 miles east of Route 684 exit 6. The Railroad Station in Katonah, NY, is less than 6 miles away.
