CROSS RIVER, NY… The 7th Cross River Winter Antiques Showw on Sunday, March 7th, is sure to attract the same excitement as it has every year and all for the benefit of the John Jay High School PTO. The show will run from 10 AM until 5 PM. There are dealers around every corner, notes show manager Vivien Cord, and this year we are so excited to welcome back the highly regarded team from the William J. Jenack Appraisers and Auctioneers Gallery in Chester, NY. They will be doing verbal appraisals for $5 per item (three items per turn), which they are generously donating to the JJ High School PTO. The appraisal hours are from 11AM - 3 PM.
William Jenack, Owner and Primary Professional Auctioneer, Appraiser and Educator, specializes in 18th - 20th Century decorative arts including paintings, furniture, glass, carpets and even fountain pens. He is a designated member of the International Society of Appraisers and has served Mid-Hudson and Metropolitan area attorneys, banks and insurance companies for over 30 years. William's wife, Andrea Jenack, Owner, Primary Appraiser, General Manager, specializes in antique jewelry; 19th - 20th Century silver, textiles & decorative arts. She is a Graduate Gemologist, fluent in diamond evaluation, colored stones, & gem identification. Mrs. Jenack holds certificates from the Gemological Institute of America.
Up to 70 dealers will be coming offering such a variety of interesting and affordable antiques and collectibles. All merchandise is guaranteed as to age, condition and authenticity to the best of the dealer's ability and reproductions are not permitted.
The John Jay High School, 60 North Salem Rd. (Rte. 121 N) in Cross River, NY, which is Northern Westchester County, is just off Route 35 and about 4 miles east of Route 684 exit 6.
