26th  Lasdon Labor Day Antiques Fair

 

THE LASDON ESTATE IS UNSURPASSED IN ITS BEAUTY AND CONVENIENT LOCATION.  It is 3 1/2 miles West

of Route 684 exit #6.  There is free parking on the premises for thousands of customers and there is plenty

of exhibitor space. This 200 acre park is a Westchester County-owned property. Katonah is 20 miles North of

White Plains and 10 miles South of Brewster / Danbury and I-84. This show attracts a tremendous gate with

many young, enthusiastic new collectors. Even in the rain the show has a following of buyers! We have live

musical entertainment and we offer customers free coffee/tea at opening. Friends of Lasdon will hold their plant

sale.   + DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED+  EXPECTED NUMBER OF DEALERS 85; CUSTOMERS, 2000.

TIME :  10 am - 5 PM (NO EARLY ADMISSION)

 

BOOTH SIZE AND RENT:

Single Lawn Booths, 20' x 30' are $ 185
Single tent booths, 15’ x 15' are $ 285.
Corner tent booths are $35,

TABLES (8’ only) are $15 each and must be rented no less than 1 week in advance.

BOOTHS-AND-A-HALF ARE NOT AVAILABLE. IF YOU ARE PULLING A TRAILER OR DRIVING A VEHICLE LONGER THAN 30' AND WISH TO KEEP YOUR VEHICLE IN YOUR SPACE, YOU MUST RENT A DOUBLE.

A $100 NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT MUST BE SENT WITH THIS APPLICATION . THE BALANCE IS DUE TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO SHOW DATE. NO REMINDERS WILL BE SENT. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO INCLUDE A POSTDATED CHECK OR WE CAN AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE YOUR ACCOUNT FOR THE BALANCE FOR A 5% ADMINISTRATIVE FEE.  If balances are not received on time, Cord Shows reserves the right to resell the space.   There is a $25 fee for checks returned by the bank. If cancellation is received in writing no less than two weeks prior to show date, Cord Shows will retain a $100 service fee. The balance will be applied to a mutually agreed upon show within one year.

BOOTH RENT AND/OR BALANCE PAYMENTS MADE DURING THE FINAL TWO WEEKS WILL BE INCREASED BY $35. “DRIVE-UPS’ WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY IN CASH. NO EXCEPTIONS MADE.

SETUP: Sunday starting at Noon or Monday at Dawn. The gates are locked at dark. Dealers may stay with their booths at night; however, absolutely no grills are permitted. DEALERS MUST SLEEP IN THEIR VEHICLES, not in tents.

1- THIS IS A QUALITY ANTIQUES SHOW.  No repros or crafts are permitted.
2- DEALERS ARE NOT TO BEGIN PACKING BEFORE 5 PM.
3- TABLES MUST BE COVERED, PACKING MATERIALS CONCEALED.
4- BOOTHS MUST BE LEFT SPOTLESS, PLEASE TAKE OUR GARBAGE HOME.

6- DEALERS MUST GUARANTEE THE AUTHENTICITY, AGE & CONDITION OF THEIR MERCHANDISE AND USE DESCRIIPTIVE SALES RECEIPTS CONTAINING CONTACT INFO.
7- DEALERS MUST HAVE A VALID NY RESALE NUMBER OR HAVE APPLIED FOR ONE.

THE EXHIBITOR UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES AS FOLLOWS:
           Cord Shows Ltd., its agents or employees shall not be liable for property damage or personal injury to Exhibitor, its agents/guests or employees, which may occur on or about any part of the subject premises, regardless of how such injury or damage may have occurred.  Exhibitor waives any claim against Cord Shows Ltd. and assumes all liability for loss or damage to Exhibitor's property entrusted to the premises. Exhibitor shall hold Cord Shows Ltd. harmless and shall indemnify Cord Shows Ltd. against any liability or expenses arising out of any claim of injury or damage to any person or property, together with all costs in connection with the defense thereto, including attorney's fees.  Cord Shows Ltd. reserves the right to refuse exhibits or accept exhibits, as it deems appropriate.  If it becomes impossible to hold this event when and where it is now planned, Cord Shows Ltd. may cancel this lease without liability, upon applying, or returning to Exhibitor, all sums paid as rental.  This contract shall not be assigned without prior written consent.
