"ANTIQUES IN THE CHURCHYARD," HELD ON THE FRONT LAWN OF QUAINT STEVENS MEMORIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, IS A FUN, SUCCESSFUL EVENT WHICH CAN ACCOMMODATE 120 BOOTHS MAXIMUM. S. Salem/Vista, NY (Westchester County) is directly adjacent to Ridgefield, Norwalk and New Canaan, CT. Attendance is nonstop! The day starts with an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast ($5). All gate, attic treasures booth, pancake breakfast and food concession proceeds go directly to the Church. The atmosphere is relaxed and the sales tremendous. This show is for quality merchandise only. NEW MERCHANDISE AND/OR REPROS ARE NOT PERMITTED. REMEMBER THAT THIS SHOW SELLS OUT EARLY AND SPACE IS LIMITED.

Single LAWN booths - 20' x 20 are $195. One vehicle no longer than 20' may remain in space. Longer vehicles will require double booths. Booths-and-a-half are not available. Vehicles taller than a van may need to be parked at the Meadow Pond School next door.

Single TENT booths - 10' x 13' are $295. Reserved corner tent booths are an additional $35. Tent dealers may unload at their booths. Booths-and-a-half are not available.

Tables - 8' tables are available for $15 each. All tables must be rented seven days in advance.

A $100 NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT MUST BE SENT WITH THIS APPLICATION . THE BALANCE IS DUE ONE MONTH PRIOR TO SHOW DATE. NO REMINDERS WILL BE SENT. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO INCLUDE A POSTDATED CHECK OR WE CAN AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE YOUR ACCOUNT FOR THE BALANCE FOR A 5% ADMINISTRATIVE FEE. If balances are not received on time, Cord Shows reserves the right to resell the space. There is a $25 fee for checks returned by the bank. If cancellation is received in writing no less than two weeks prior to show date, Cord Shows will retain a $100 service fee. The balance will be applied to a mutually agreed upon show within one year.

SETUP - READ CAREFULLY - Dealers who wish to set up on July 3rd may arrive between NOON and 8 PM. IF ARRIVING BEFORE 1 PM , PLEASE FORM A LINE AT THE MEADOW POND SCHOOL . ABSOLUTELY NOBODY WILL BE PERMITTED TO ENTER THE CHURCH GROUNDS PRIOR TO 12:00 . A STAFF MEMBER WILL ARRIVE AT THE SCHOOL BY 11:30 TO DIRECT VEHICLES TO THE SHOW SITE IN NUMBER ORDER. After 1:00 proceed directly to the Church. Due to space limitations and the need to place vehicles close together, those setting up the day before who wish to keep a vehicle in their display, MUST plan to leave that vehicle in place overnight. Dealers are welcome to spend the night on the field or at Meadow Pond School . If this isn't possible we offer no guarantee that getting a vehicle back into a spot can be accomplished and DEALER MAY HAVE TO PARK AT THE SCHOOL. VEHICLES ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE LAWN AT MEADOW POND. VEHICLES MAY NOT BE PARKED IN THE CUSTOMER PARKING AREAS at the Church. SET UP CONTINUES ON JULY 4TH AT 6 AM . Go directly to the Church. In '07 dealers removed the caution tape and proceeded to park on the lawn behind the Board of Ed Building, thus this privilege may not be granted in '08.

DIRECTIONS: The Church is at the corner of Route 123 and Shady Lane . From Route 684 take exit 6. Go East on Route 35 for 9.5 miles and turn right onto Route 123 for 1.6 miles. The Church will be on your left. From the Merritt Parkway take exit 38 and go North on Rte 123 for 9 miles. The Church will be marked by flags and will be highly visible on your right.

+ COMPLIMENTARY COFFEE/TEA, ROLLS DOWNSTAIRS BEHIND CHURCH THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND FRIDAY MORNING.

IMPORTANT RULES TO FOLLOW:

All packing materials must be concealed.

Tables must be covered with fabric.

Dealers must wear their badges during setup and show time.

Due to 9 AM opening, dealers MUST arrive by 7:30 AM and have their booths completed by 9.

Early packing is not permitted.

Booth area MUST be left spotless and GARBAGE MUST BE TAKEN HOME IN BAG PROVIDED.

All merchandise must be price tagged.

Exhibitors must hold a valid NY tax number.

Booths are not to be shared.

Tents/canopies MUST be staked down.

All merchandise must be antique or collectible. No repros, new merchandise or crafts.

All merchandise must be guaranteed as to age, condition and authenticity. Descriptive sales receipts are to be used with contact information.

THE EXHIBITOR UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES AS FOLLOWS:

Cord Shows Ltd., its agents or employees shall not be liable for property damage or personal injury to Exhibitor, its agents/guests or employees, which may occur on or about any part of the subject premises, regardless of how such injury or damage may have occurred. Exhibitor waives any claim against Cord Shows Ltd. and assumes all liability for loss or damage to Exhibitor's property entrusted to the premises. Exhibitor shall hold Cord Shows Ltd. harmless and shall indemnify Cord Shows Ltd. against any liability or expenses arising out of any claim of injury or damage to any person or property, together with all costs in connection with the defense thereto, including attorney's fees. Cord Shows Ltd. reserves the right to refuse exhibits or accept exhibits, as it deems appropriate. If it becomes impossible to hold this event when and where it is now planned, Cord Shows Ltd. may cancel this lease without liability, upon applying, or returning to Exhibitor, all sums paid as rental. This contract shall not be assigned without prior written consent.
