The Danbury Police Activities League Building (PAL) at 25 Hayestown Rd, Danbury, CT, offers a very large and very bright gymnasium with easy access through numerous doors. It is in a residential area directly adjacent to Candlewood Lake. There is more than ample parking. Those driving RVs are free to park on site. AN ENTHUSIASTIC, BUYING AUDIENCE SUPPORTS THIS EVENT. MANY COME BY TRAIN FROM NYC, AS THE RR STATION IS LESS THAN 3 MILES AWAY. APPROXIMATELY FORTY BOOTHS ARE AVAILABLE TO DEALERS IN CLOTHING, FASHION ACCESSORIES, JEWELRY AND TEXTILES NO NEWER THAN THE 1980’S. BOOTH SIZE & RENT: Single booth - $350 for a 10' x 13'. Reserved corner - $50. Booth-and-a-half - $525 for a 10' x 21' which includes a corner on a first come basis. Double booth - $700 for a 10' x 28' which includes a corner on a first come basis. To share a booth, dealers must rent at least 1 1/2 spaces and pay an additional $50. If cancellation is unavoidable and notification is received no less than two weeks prior to show date, Cord Shows Ltd. will retain a $100 service fee and apply all remaining booth rent to a mutually agreed upon show within one year. EQUIPMENT: Electricity is included. There is a maximum of 400 watts per booth. Tables, 6’ or 8’ by 30” are $15 each. Showcases may be rented directly from Levin & Assoc.: 718-463-2176. Dealers may provide their own equipment. Pipe and drape will divide the back of the booths. DEALERS MUST SUPPLY THEIR OWN CHAIRS. SETUP: Dealers may arrive at Noon Friday. Porters will be available for a minimum tip of $15 per job. If you use a porter for more than 1/2 hour we suggest a tip of at least $20 as they are being taken away from other potential jobs. Please remember that they are there to help with loading and unloading, NOT to unpack, pack or set up your display. The use of porters is at your own risk. Set up will end on Friday at 5:30 PM and continue at 7 AM on Saturday. DIRECTIONS: From Rte. 684, Westchester County, NY, go East towards Danbury on I-84. From I-84 Eastbound take exit 5 toward Route 37/Downtown Danbury/Bethel. At stop sign at the end of ramp go straight on Downs St. for 1/10 mile and straight through the first light (crossing Main St.). Downs St. then becomes North St./Route 37. Go 6/10 mile, turn right onto Hayestown Ave., go 2/10 mile, turn left onto Tamarack Ave. which becomes E. Hayestown Rd., bear right and go 8/10 mile to PAL on right. From I-84 Westbound take exit 6 toward Route 37/New Fairfield. At the bottom of the ramp turn right onto North St./Rte. 37. At the first light turn right onto Hayestown Ave., go 2/10 mile, turn left onto Tamarack Ave. which becomes E. Hayestown Rd. Bear right and go 8/10 mile to Danbury PAL on right. FOLLOW SHOW SIGNS. THE FOLLOWING RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED BY ALL DEALERS: 1) Booths are not to be shared without the prior consent of Management. 2) All names of persons who will be in the booth must appear on this contract. 3) All booths must be completed by the time the show opens. 4) Dealers must do nothing to mar or deface the building. 5) Dealer is not permitted to pack early under any circumstances. 6) All merchandise must be price tagged. 7) All booths must be kept safe and presentable and left spotless. 8) All tables must be covered with floor length, wrinkle-free, fire retardant cloths. 9) Dealers must hold a valid CT resale number. 10) Nothing newer than 1989 is permitted. 11) Dealers must offer a money back guarantee as to the age, condition, & authenticity of their merchandise, to the best of their ability, using descriptive sales receipts containing dealer's contact information. Cord Shows Ltd. will provide a Customer’s Charge Service for sales over $50 for a 5% service fee to dealer. MOTEL offering Cord Shows rate: Microtel, Bethel, CT ($65), 203-748-8318; There are also several more expensive and classier hotels in the immediate area. Don't forget to try the Internet for even better rates. Every hotel/motel chain seems to be represented in Danbury.

If balance is not received on time, cord shows Ltd. reserves the right to resell the booth. There is a $25 charge for any check returned by the bank. Cord Shows Ltd., its agents or employees shall not be liable for property damage or personal injury to Exhibitor, its agents, guests or employees, which may occur on or about any part of the subject premises, regardless of how such injury or damage may have occurred. Exhibitor waives any claim against Cord Shows Ltd., and assumes all liability for loss or damage to Exhibitor's property entrusted to the premises. Exhibitor shall hold Cord Shows Ltd. harmless and shall indemnify Cord Shows Ltd. against any liability or expenses arising out of any claim of injury or damage to any person or property, together with all costs in connection with the defense thereto, including attorney's fees. Cord Shows Ltd. reserves the right to refuse exhibits or accept exhibits, as it deems appropriate. If it becomes impossible to hold this event when and where it is now planned, Cord Shows Ltd. may cancel this lease without liability, upon returning to Exhibitor or applying to another show, all sums paid as rental. This contract shall not be assigned without prior written consent.
